We will be locking this thread due to it being revived by a new post. Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums. I'd love to know if this works even if you don't see File Explorer under All Apps - it'd help us figure out what might be going on. You should be able to browse folders in This Device, create a new folder under Downloads, etc. This should open the File Picker app in folder picker mode, in which File Explorer ought to be hosted. If anyone has any idea of how it got disappeared, I'd very interested. I don't know of any supported way to uninstall it. It wasn't removed from the store it was never there in the first place. The File Explorer app on XBox comes preinstalled and isn't updated through the store. I'm unable to save to default local storage or to an external device. File Exployer isn't in Ready to Install and looks to have been removed from the store. If it isn't visible under Apps Installedhave you checked the Ready to install section or searching for it in the Microsoft Store? Another alternative app that may help you out is the VLC app which you should be able to find in the Microsoft Store if you don't already have it installed.
